Presenting The 16th Annual Teddy Bear Challenge

November 23, 2011

For 16 years, Scott Land & Lease has been collecting new teddy bears donated by our industry colleagues, friends and staff. In partnership with a number of non-profit organizations the teddy bears collected from the Teddy Bear Challenge are given to under privileged children in Calgary and the communities in which we do business. We work with a variety of organizations to ensure our bears reach those who need them the most. Sadly, for many of these underprivileged children, your teddy bear donations are the only present they will receive this Christmas.

Last year, through your generous contributions in our 2010 Teddy Bear Challenge we were able to donate over 2,600 bears to a variety of organizations including Discovery House, The Salvation Army, The Mustard Seed, The Magic of Christmas, Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association, Alberta Youth Care Network, The Women’s Shelter, The Calgary Veteran’s Food Bank and a host of needy families.

This year we are looking to collect a record breaking 3,000 teddy bears and we can not do it without you! If you or your company is able to help us reach our goal, please contact Jessica Penner at 403-261-6506 or

The 2011 Teddy Bear Challenge will run from November 7th to December 16th. If you would like to support us we offer three pickup/delivery options to suit your needs:

  • Drop off your teddy bear donations at our head office: 900, 202 – 6th Avenue SW Calgary, AB T2P 2R9
  • To arrange for pickup contact Jessica at 403-261-6506 or
  • Double leverage your donation by giving $10 to the Rainbow Society and they will donate a bear to Scott Land & Lease to support our challenge.

Scott Land & Lease is committed to supporting health and well-being for children’s initiatives in the community as our way of giving back. We look forward to your donation and another wonderful season of giving.

From Gregg Scott and all the staff at Scott Land & Lease we thank you in advance for your support and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
